Here's what I work on when I'm not working on the SLC: 1/32 Carerra Digital slot car layout

Must have GT-40s of course:

Lower level, pit row, and garages:

Ready for a crash:

Gotta have off-roaders in the desert:

Entering the Sesses:

Passing the Jumbotron:

Infield campers getting a visit:

Train corner (O-scale train runs on the outside border of the track)

Backstretch:

Pressbox:

Last corner:

Grandstands:

Tirewall on last corner:

Who is that all by himself? :squint:

Are you building an SLC for your model racetrack?

How cool would that be

Cheers!

That is really cool!!!!!

More info would be nice!

How many feet of track? How many years have you been working on this? Did you build all the cars yourself?

It's about 45 feet of track. I started on it last July. I didn't build any of the cars, they're all Carrera and Scalextric. I've added lights to several of the cars and all the Scalextric cars have been modified with a Carrera digital control board.

Here's the track plan:

Quite an undertaking Pete! And you brought it all together pretty quickly at that!
So I figure it is just over 1/4 mile in scale..
Very nice..... I really like the lights!

Reminds me of a time when i used to run 24th scale McLaren M8B with two 26D Mabuchi motors in the rear.

Good on you Pete, they are great fun!!
