What resonates for me is the Bristol Beaufighter, which must be the only survivor of what turned out to be one of the best nightfighters of WWII. Bit of an unsung hero. Then of course, who can deny the absolute power & grace of the P38! I'd read books about these legendary silver machines but not actually ever seen one in the flesh. This is as close as I'm ever going to get unfortunately..
