Bill,
I brought the car to the US 5 years ago. I stripped it to a shell and rebuilt it. It has a 550hp 429 motor in it now.
It was featured in Australian Muscle Car magazine over there and Car Craft over here.

It has been a common practice of late, the older Australian Ford GT models have been finding their way across to the States, especially the XA, XB & XC coupes due to that shape vehicle's starring role in Mad Max (The Road Warrior) series of movies that made Mel Gibson famous.
These cars are becoming very hard to find even here and are now worth lots of money.
I'd love to see more photos of your car.
