that GTD is that with the RVS mono?
also saw the video...the car did many years not run and on the video the testrun also for hp test, lots of smoke when accelerating is that little rubber seals that are not so good anymore after those years or is that "normal"

What is an RVS mono?

The price went down then up again and the final car looks a bit different, but I guess that is because of the side mirrors and different shift-gate etc?

by RVS mono I meant euh...ah, Stainless Steel monocoque chassis?

Ah, OK. That makes sense. I was thinking "RVS" was a 3rd party chassis supplier, making replacement mono chassis for GTD cars.

This particular GTD is, as far as I know, a standard spaceframe GTD chassis with riveted panels.

There was a GTD in the LA area whose owner had a custom welded semi-mono frame built if I recall correctly. And. of course, I believe Ray Christopher made something like 3 monos for GTD GT40s as part of the design/development of the Spectre (again, if I recall correctly).

interesting info, I can indeed remember something about the connection GTD and Spectre, a while ago I also read something like that (connection) in a Spectre ad

ah in this ad that was>> Hallmark Sports Cars Ltd : Spectre R42

so there are not that many GTD GT40 with stainless mono?
