One thing of note on the upright pictured is the steering arm has been modified, there's an insert in there, I assume to make it threaded, to bolt on a non oem rod end.

I'll state the obvious, which wasn't so obvious when I investigated using these parts for my project, and that is the vertical dimension of the upright prevents the use of "period" diameter wheels, unless you have less than 3" of backspacing. This means a 17" wheel minimum, and depending on the wheel design and construction, an 18" minimum.
