Rep Power: 2 | Re: Stoneleigh 2007 Hi Fuoriserie We will be in Hall 2. We will have two fully built cars and a body and chassis component stage for you to see. One of the cars is a build we just recently handed over to its owner David Clark, who will be joining us at Stoneleigh. It is a high spec car with some wonderful extras under the body, personally out of all the cars we have built so far, this one is my favourite. The colours are similar to the car Johan has just taken receipt of. Have a look at it on the CAV GT forum, if you like the colours there just wait till you see it finished. The second car, which is in build at present, has been design specifically for pace car duties at the Le Mans 24 Hour Motor Racing Legends event. It will be driven and signed by Sir Sterling Moss and will be available for purchase once the event is complete. Auto Futura are also creating a special edition car in preparation for Le Mans and all three will take to the track as official pace cars, reminiscent of the legendary 1-2-3 finish at Le Mans in 1966. Stoneleigh will be the last chance to see both the British cars before their début at Le Mans, so it is definitely worth a visit. Chris Younger A1 Autocraft |

Rep Power: 3 | Re: Stoneleigh 2007 Will definitely stop by and come and visit your stand , I'm hoping to see quite a few different cars at this event, but gt40 are on my priority list this year.
Hopefully it will be a sunny day, and get a chance to see the cars outside the halls....
Thanks for the info
Cheers

Rep Power: 5 | Re: Stoneleigh 2007 Sterling is worth its weight in gold. Sir Stirling, however, is the greatest English racing driver of all time but only by a long way! Rightly always appears in just about every "all time greatest lists" when prepared by anyone who really understands motor racing. See you at Stoneleigh.
Grow old disgracefully (and mostly sideways)

At least it was a typo with a humorous comeback, that makes me feel less ashamed.

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Stoneleigh 2007 Sorry mate, not dissin' you, used to be a proof reader on the Dily Expres (the original one) which kept me very very busy, a bit like the Grauniad today.
Can't help it....it's an affliction.

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Stoneleigh 2007 Driving through London yesterday, I came across a large yellow with black lettering roadworks board warning of delays between Bishopsgate and Wormwood road, only it was spelt "wermwood"
Probably made by the same guy as the one below......

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Stoneleigh 2007 Now you see, that would have had me blocking traffic and out there with a large marker pen.
It's really not good - I will get myself arrested one day....
But, it's just....so irritating!
