Manchester Classic Car Show

Great show over the weekend at Event City near the Trafford Centre in Manchester. Myself and Pete Thompson had our car there on the Enthusiasts Stand with my car only back from the painters day's previously. The stand generated great interest with the public and it was a very enjoyable experience all round. The organisers put on a great show and had some awards to give out at the end of the show. Nick Bough got a second for his beautiful Brough Superior car and I managed a second for Best Classic Replica, not bad as the car isn't even finished.

Has Martin changed his name?

Martin,

Just been in the library (or W.H. Smith ) as others call it. On page 45 of the May edition of I think Total Kit Car it had a picture of your car and Pete's with the caption. "Linden Green and Pete Thompson represented the GT40 club with their GT40 replicas. Linden's immaculate green Southern GT replica won 2nd prize."

Pure dedication that changing your name to the colour of your car, even if it is the best colour for a GT 40.
