Longford Revival

Longford in Tasmania hosted major international racing during the fifties and sixties.
World champions and their teams came to our tiny island to compete, including my hero Jim Clark.
Last year the first of what I hope are many Longford revivals were held.
I was extremely happy to be a part of it, clips and pic's of that event have been posted elsewhere on this forum.
This year I ran in it again and was happy to meet some people from this forum for the first time, including one couple from the UK. :)

Here a some clips off youtube that include my red GT40 -RF085.

1 kph off the V8supercar  - it's the first car in this clip : 2012-longford revival - YouTube

There are quite a few other clips there, some amazing sounding Mustangs etc. :)

BTW I started in second gear and was very gentle on the throttle, I had no traction, indeed the V8Supercar ended up using his qualifying slicks.
