I went to this event Sunday. A totally awesome selection of cars in great weather. Two GT40's, two Ford GT's, lots of Cobra's, Mustangs, a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, a 250 GTO and others. All had two great runs up the hill-climb. Here are some photographs for the flavour.
The green GT40 is Stewart Adam's RCR, this was absolutely stunning, and really the pictures don't do the colour justice. Under the clip everything was immaculate, why didn't I take a picture?
My new friend Lloyd Henry was there in his Cobra also pictured below, and won a prize for 'best presented Cobra'.

Hi Jimmy, if I understood correctly it was a replica, but saw it had a genuine Ferrari V12. Here are a couple more pics, maybe someone can tell.

Hmmmm, if its a replica I'd have to put it in the "its a damn fine one" class. Very nice.....looks highly restored or as stated a brilliant replica.

Great photos Dave and I'm really delighted that you enjoyed the day.
We are already planning the 2015 edition :)
The green GT40 of Stuart Adam was truly beautiful and really suited that colour.
The 250 GTO was built from a Ferrari 250 E, so correct everything with a new body and the sound of a screaming V12 Colombo !!!
David who owns the 250 GTO also has a Superformance GT40 in Gulf colours.
Then there were the two mighty Ford GT's, just awesome !!!!!!
It would be lovely to get a few more GT40's next year :)
