    Reinhard while your at it check out another UPOL product called Dolphin Glaze,an exceptional filler for skim filling large curved areas,very good fine filler for applying over conventional fillers to to eliminate pin holes. Regards Allan Knight

    That sounds like a great idea Reinhard but look into a product manafactured by UPOL called SMC Filler,this product is a finer and much heavier version of short strand filler,thus giving you greater strength i use it when doing deep filling or repair work and several years on it has not...

    I've had the same thing on some Cobra bodies Reinhard,and its no real problem provided that the gelcoat is prepared properly,remembering that the gelcoat is harder and not as porus as the fibreglass.I would suggest sanding the gelcoat with 60g before applying your filler and allowing the filler...

    Russ the Standox Silicone Remover will remove virtually any wax or silicone release agent i have ever come across.It is the only product i use as a final cleaner ,and yes reinhard i agree that it is expensive but when used correctly it is very cost effective. Al
