Thanks for putting up with a "newbie" regarding Gt-40's. I fell in love with the car when my neighbor bought an original dark blue 1966 GT-40 back in the mid 1990's. It was right hand drive street driven only car. According to him it had no racing history...I have some pics somewhere, I will...
Thanks for all the comments and opinions, I really appreciate it. Now for my issue...I am 6' 4" tall...which car has the most leg room etc? I tried to drive an ERA Cobra a while back, that didn't work out so well...
I am uninformed regarding the quality of the GT40 kits that are available today...I would like to either build one or buy one that is done. Which Kit cars are recommended? Any to stay away from? Thanks in advance! A friend of mine has an ERA Cobra...a very nicely engineered car.
I have a real deal nice pair of GT40 floor mats that I would like to find a home for...PM me please if interested. They are sort of a burnt orange in color...no part numbers that I can find. They have the Ford logo and a side view of a GT40 molded into the mat.
I have found an original pair of real GT-40 floor mats recently, and would like to find a new owner for them...I have always loved the look of the Gt40... my neighbor here in Clinton Twp. MI used to own a dark blue one back in the early 2000's...since sold.
