I have an earlier ZFQ E62G41 and from what I've read it probably has a machined main shaft bolt and that they now use a forged bolt that would be an upgrade. I emailed Quaife and received a responce that stated they only have a machined bolt for that part. Has anyone sourced a forged replacement...

I purchased my ZFQ 2nd hand. Is the exploded parts diagram available as a download, or did you recieve it with the unit? Any other paperwork I should try to get? Thanks, Cy

Would welding ribs to the case help spread the load, or couldn't it be done without distorting the case? The square cut corners where the nut surface is faced would seem to be stress risers, any way to fillet those?
