how are thes cars to drive on a normal basis...daily driver if you will.
can these be driven with out wearing earmuffs... so to speak?
do the windows roll down or pop out?
i appreciate what your saying. after pondering it i would rather have a gt40 instead of the vette. the 40's more attractive and rare. i'm sure its twice as much fun to drive and i'm sure it gets all the looks.
i aslo respect your talk about being fortunate. i consider myself fortunate in many...
what if it was bought an then repoed and now the bank has it.
i dont believe sunset classics owns this anymore.
yes i'm dreaming i know. not quite as fortunate as some of you.
this isnt your barret jackson auction. this is a small local deal. which is why its something i might be able to afford. i cant afford 70,000. i could get a sweet vette for that.
i prob wont post it unless its out of my range, i'm looking for advice not competition.
here is the description of the car being auctioned.
1966 Ford GT40 Signed by Carroll Shelby (Replica of a Vintage Sports Car DOM 9/19/07 Model-SuperformanceGT40) Chassis Number P2205 Roush 427IR Engine Includes Billet air cleaner, Accel/DFI Gen 7 ECM w/Roush calibration, dual sync distributor...
ok i'm less worried about registering the car...
more interested in finding out if this is something worth great value, something i can afford.
theres no way i could swing 50,000 for a car
but if it goes cheap i may be able to make it happen, call it an investment if you will. i need help...
this is at a auction near me.
while googling it it apperars it the same car on this web site which has it for sale.
i wonder if someone bought it and now needs to get rid of it fast.
