Its been a while and dropped in to look at all the new builds. Pretty cool. Still have the GT40 and its still running perfectly. Now building some other cars, a photo of my shop. I know they are not GT40's but they are a load of fun. You can see the 40 in the background :)
Fast work, well done Sean. I wish I had moved through mine a bit quicker as I love driving it. Could have been driving it years earlier with your pace :)
If anyone on the forum wants a fun read and some great images like the one here you should check out Retromotive Magazine. I'm not affiliated with them but I do know they ship overseas.

Thanks. The photos are awesome and I really like what Glenn has done with the story as well. If you live in Australia be sure to pick up a copy, the rest of the magazine is great too.
I just connected the standard RCR shifter in an RCR car with the Graz transaxle. There is no spring return to the 3/4 gear position and it feels a bit vague. has anyone looked at adding any spring return at the shifter or the trans for the cross gate movement?
Coyote. Fuel injected ITBs turn the key and off you go all day long with good power. Can look great if you do it well.
If you want to look original are you also putting Girling brakes, full steel monocoqie, peroid fuel pumps etc?
Some would say that I am biased though!
Well done, I love the OEM parts mix on the car. This is one of my favourite "practical" RCR cars and I look forward to your next post to see it progress. It will surely be a great car to drive.
