    Barrett Jackson GT 40

I thought the number on the MK V would be in the 325K range, as I said originally the free enterprise system can do strange things at a circus! You put testosterone loaded males in front of a camera all the world is watching and they have trouble finishing second or being told there out. I am...

What if you had to sell your GT40

I think the market today is driven by several factors disposable income and lust/desire for a specific type of automobile. I watch the collector car market pretty closely, for several reasons, the first being I have a large investment in toys. I have always enjoyed being able to take someone...

Tim, I love the way the car rides, handles, the acceleration is better than a 427 FE Superformance Cobra I was the custodian of for quite some time. I never got comfortable driving it. It is so small, so low, like I said earlier they could hear me but never see me. The right hand drive never...

Oliver, Thank You, I’m not trying to argue any point I researched these cars and bought the best car I could for the money I had and wanted to spend. It is not a kit, was not bought in pieces, was not imported less a drive train, it is a complete as assembled GT 40 MKV, it was built in 1985...

"This is chassis number P1096 of the original 1967 GT40 MKV production run." I’ve already explained that you can choose to believe oit or not I actually do not care. From this sentence anyone that doesn't know what a MkV really is would assume this car was in the original run. "" Titled as a...

Pantera 1889-guess you must be a Pantera guy, so am I have owned four two I bought new. The first in 1973 a New 73 L while working as a mechanical engineer in the engine division of Ford motor company sold it to buy a home. The last a 72 that was still on the original MSO and I bought it from...

    Barrett Jackson GT 40

I believe the actual time it crosses the block will be in the 6-7pm range Saturday evening. I consider the GT40 MK V an original GT40 only because the experts say it is. I also am not ashamed of the fact the car was imported 9/85 and carries a legitimate J.W. Automotive ID plate, with a number...

The car is in the Shelby registry nothing to hide here. They are the original tires and in 1985 they were B F Goodrich T/A, it is a MKV, it...

    289 or 302

I know they stopped the 289 in production automobiles in 1968 or 1969, I believe you could however still buy a 289 casting much, much later than that.

    289 or 302

Is there a simple way to tell a 289 Block from a 302 block? Do they cary different casting numbers? I'm assuming the engine is a 1983-1985 casting.

I would like to contact Ronnie Spain! I have a telephone number and an address. Could someone send an email address if he has one? Please supply it as an email to me privately and not on line, I would prefer it not be published on a Web site unless he chooses to do so himself. I assumed he...
