    Fuel Level Sender

Thanks for the responses. I like Alex's idea of just setting the DigiDash to the standard American setting of 240/33 and buying a regular sender. I did some research and the reed switch/magnetic field units from KUS look like a good solution. They come in 10.5" lengths which will put the end of...

    Fuel Level Sender

I'm in the process of trying to fix the fuel gauge in Grant's SLC. The DigiDash would alway read "FLA" in the main display which is the Fuel Level Alarm and Grant had pre-warned me that this was a known problem/issue. I hooked up a laptop to the DigiDash serial port and was able to disable the...

***SOLD*** SLC for sale in Canada ***SOLD***

Hi Zachary. The SLC is great fun. I'm just in the process of moving into a new garage/house so have not had as much time with it as I would like. Let me know if you want to come have a look at it. It's quite an impressive build. Scott

    Ricardo Clutch Adjustment

Thanks, Alex. I think I got it sorted out. I bled the clutch again and got a bit more air after working the clutch a bit and was able to get it in first and reverse without any issues. Much easier with the engine running than how I was trying to set it. Thanks! Scott

    Ricardo Clutch Adjustment

I'm trying to set the Tilton clutch pedal stop on the SLC. I had the pedal box out to move it farther forward which has given me much more room. I think I have everything bled correctly and have been following the Tilton instruction for setting the pedal stop but was wondering if anyone could...

Hey, Thanks. Cool to see you are building a RCR40. I've got the SLC apart making a few mods but will hopefully have it on the road soon. I've got a FFR Cobra and a 37 Hot Rod as well. Can't wait to get the SLC on the road. Scott

    Balance Bar

Yes, 2X Brian. Thank you all for your input and experience. As an update, I decided to go ahead and put the pedal box back in the car the way it came out with the balance bar centered and the MC clevis/rods set the same. I figure I can start with this setup and then adjust from there. FYI, this...

    Balance Bar

I took the pedal box out of the SLC to make some changes to the MC fittings to allow me to move the PB forward an extra inch. While I was at it I noticed the MCs were seeping a bit of fluid so took the opportunity to rebuild them. I see in some of the Tilton videos they recommend lengthening the...

***SOLD*** SLC for sale in Canada ***SOLD***

I'm the lucky new owner of Grant's beautiful SLC. The car will be staying in Canada, I live in Ottawa Ontario and we were able to get the car shipped just in time before the winter hit Edmonton. I'm sure I will be picking people's brains over the coming months as I get to know the SLC better...

    Speed cameras in America??

Polish Mig-29 pilot captured by speeding cam between Berlin and Poznan. I'm sure it's photoshopped but it made me laugh. Scott

Best time to visit Canada advice please

I live in Ontario and would suggest May/June time period to visit. Weather is usually warm and sunny mid 20's, days are longer and everything has greened up. My favorite time of year. Scott

    RCR GT40 in Canada

No I can't find a price estimate. It has a reserve and the add indicate over 200K invested. Which I can easily believe in Canadian dollars.

    RCR GT40 in Canada

I was wondering if anyone on the forum know this car which looks like it's going up for auction in Toronto? https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/ford/unspecified/2240189.html I've been looking for a 40 for a few years but they are quite rare in Canada and I like the idea of an...
