We have to run a front plate in Australia. Mine has been mounted on rear licence plate hinged fuel cap cover. This allows the plate to be hinged upwards, giving access, to allow the front clam retaining pins to be pulled out.

I also use the Improved Racing for the Ricardo but from memory I have the FSM-145. I mounted it on the chassis rail near where the trans cooler is installed in the side vents.

Mine is definitely hard coated polycarbonate. Perhaps that's why it doesn't yellow. No impact from engine heat

Hi Dan! I've done nearly 9,000 miles on my SLC here in Sydney, we have very harsh sunlight/UV here in Aust and my rear window and side windows are all fine. cheers Stu
