If I may tag onto this thread, is it generally accepted the Superformance is the closest to the originals, hence the usage of the word 'continuation' ? I'm on the home stretch of eventually owning one, but had my sights set on SPF myself. Thoughts?

Hi all! I've been a poking around for awhile before deciding to finally join. I've been dreaming about owning a Superformance MK1 GT40 for some time but only recently entered a point in my life that should allow me to be able to afford one. I'm still about 2 or 3 years away from feeling good...
