    Intake Manifold Removal

    As mentioned, a very thin knife, or a double edged razor handled with care, I sodden needed to slice thru the sealant on the end of the manifold. Go slowly to avoid gouging the soft aluminum. Z

    Are you looking for the assembly date code stamped on the edge of the block by the driver side cylinder head, or the casting date down behind the starter ? The assembly date code can be anywhere from a week before the car was assembled, on up to several months. Z

    I had Comp Cam make a special Weber friendly cam for me. It works very well. But mine are 48 IDA's, not the IDF series that the OP is asking about . Should work the same though. Z
