I think the key after reading the article is expectations. Unlike most of us this individual paid someone to build them a kit where most of us find the build and creative process to be part of the joy. Writing a check for a completed product comes will a whole other host of expectations

Agreed we actually spent an entire day in the village. To see the actual shop where the Wright flier was built and the actual tools was awesome then you add to that Edisons Menlow park lab and the homes of Robert Frost and Noah Webster it becomes a one stop shop of history.
