Can anyone tell me if the Porsche 944 5-speed transaxel is the same transaxel that was used in the Audi 5000 turbo's (getrag 016)? It's getting hard to find an Audi transaxel but the Porsche 944's are plentiful. Thanks George

Hi everyone, can I use a 1988 Audi 90 5-speed transaxel? I'm using an engine of about 300 hp. The transaxel has a ALP code on it. I know that the 016's are the ones that are recommended, but I was wondering if the Audi 90 was the same. Thanks for your help. George
