Nick Have you tried MSM Insurance. Speak to Lynne she is very helpful 01279 870535. I struggled getting insurance for my CAV and they came up with a very competitive price. If they will insure a car built outside Im not sure, but they seem to have very flexible insurance. Good Luck John

Checked the timing over the weekend, it was spot on. Hesitation seemed to be caused by accelerator pump not adjusted correctly. Thanks for the help guys John

Thanks for the info guy's. What do you have the idle RPM set at for the base timing? I assume MReid you are base timing at 800rpm 12 degrees!

Frank I didnt have to use any brackets as the CAV was already bracketed for the unit. I cannot see it been to much problem to make some brackets to fit under the dash. If you look on the Southern Rod web site they have a simple schematic of the installation that might help...

The unit from NF Auto is the same unit they fit in the CAV GT. Southern Rods manufacturer it in the states I think. This is where I purchased mine from. Kit comes with everything you'll need. Southern Air Heat and Cool Kit

Sorry to say but its highly unlikely. As I understand since A1 Autocraft took on the distribution of the Cav in the UK theres been around 10 cars sold, most turnkey cars. Why not have a go at building your own? I bought my kit from A1 Oct/Nov 2006 and I'm less than 3 weeks off completion...

Rich Not sure if the manuals complete, but Im currently building a Cav in the UK and the manual Ive got is somewhat basic. Saying that the build so far seems to be pretty straight forward. If you get hold of a copy of the build manual would you let me know and I'll do likewise.
