Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Sadly I can't get a dog sitter so I'm not able to go this year. The old fellow is 15 and hard work to look after, so it's difficult to find willing helpers! Never mind, there'll always be next year. Tim B

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Stoneleigh is the next plan, need to get a new fuel pump first as I don't trust that one any more! There doesn't seem to be much choice though- Facet red top or nothing as far as I can tell..... Tim

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Hi Andy, I'm in St Austell. Cold is much better but still dragging on a bit, thanks! At least got the GT MOT'ed on wednesday, even if it did break down on me on the way (fuel pump contacts corroded)... Tim B

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Cornwall / Devon is good for me - can't stray too far at the moment due to elderly, variably continent dog! I had thought about turning up at one of the route 38 Sunday meets, weather permitting. Tim B

I'd like to add my big thanks to Stuart W-D for building a great car! I hope he's not still regretting selling me it..... Tim B

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

I'm in St Austell - so pretty much bang in the middle of sunny Cornwall. Takes about an hour and a bit to Exeter, depends on how many caravans have descended on us...... Tim

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

No points? In this country? That is an achievement - even down here in the relatively backward South West. If I could recommend a trip to North Wales on holiday? That nice Mr Brunstrom will see you right and fill your license right up for you! I've always taken the view on fuel economy that if...

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Thanks all, nice to hear from you! Actually, I prefer the 3.5, mostly because I'm much less worried about frying the engine! I've already got another couple of Rover-powered cars so am pretty familiar with setup and tuning. It also means when I get round to getting a spare engine I can have one...

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Hi Simon, Don't take me the wrong way - I love the GTD, gives me a tingle every time (and my other cars include an Aston and an Esprit). Looking on this forum though, everyone seems to have a Ford 302 (or more) and full race setup wheras I'm happy with the old Rover 3.5 and Granada...

Hi from a newbie in SW UK

Hi Chris, Very nice indeed! I'm down in Cornwall - I've only got a GTD but would be up for a run when it stops raining (probably next June).... Tim B
