    As above, ive sent some gears (1-4) off for some work and need to know which 1 is 2nd. Im pretty sure its the 2nd biggest out of all 4 but to be sure can any1 tell me how many teeth it has Thanks

    Un1 synchro improvements? For high rpm gear changes.

    As per my other thread I have now found out that the un1 gearbox can't shift at high rpms(over 6500)does any1 know what can be done to improve it? I have heard of 2 things that can be done. They are, polishing of the synchro setup removing every other tooth on the synchros and polishing...

    Has any1 welded the diff in a STD un1 before?

    I'm thinking of doing it to a spare box and doin a couple of 1/4m runs. At the moment on my STD box with 400/400 bhp/trq I spin the 1 wheel in 3rd on 235 road tyres. Usually drivers side. Would welding the diff and running the same tyres break the input shaft? Would there b any reason I can't...

    whats the limit of the un1 gearbox?
