    So you like NOS.....

I don't have two days to go over that long list, can someone give a reader's digest version? So far, what I gathered: a guy poured 2 cans of energy drinks into his motorcycle gas tank because it wasn't running right thinking it was an octane booster. Now, it won't start. Did I miss anything...

    Carslile photos?

Oops, I knew I forgot something. I should've taken some pix, was too busy drooling over the SL-C. I don't think pictures would do it justice, anyway. You have to see it in person to appreciate all that engineering marvel and attention to detail it offers. And, did I tell you about the sound that...

    boat towing help needed

I predict with your latest setup you will get uncontrollable sway once you exceed the speed of 80km/h. For a total trailer/boat weight of 2500kg you need at least 250kg tonge weight (10%) to eliminate sway. To place that 250kg evenly between the front and rear wheels of your tow vehicle you...

    US House Bill 45

Thanks. I love the US. I've spent my entire adult life here. I appreciate all it has to offer. I registered with the selective service after my arrival (back in '71) but never had the opportunity to serv. My admiration goes to all who put their lives on the line to protect the rest of us...

    US House Bill 45

I also stated my opinion, excuse me! Not sure what are you selling on this board being a gold supporter and all, but with your attitude I'll make sure I won't support it. To give you a little example, I ESCAPED from a communist country to get away from your kind of mentality. In this great...

Give us a break (brake?) Fran.........and anything else ya got for us

Doohan, are you saying DRB has a better product than RCR? Or, parts more readily available? Or, cheaper?

More pictures of the SL-C at R&G 2008

Fran, that is amazing! I did try Ernie's SLC at Carlisle and without a helmet my head touched the top bar. The GT40 14 car is setup similar as your SLC and I don't fit in them. From the pictures it is clear that it can be made to fit John or me. You do have a wonderful product there. Pete F.

Fran, does that car has a bar on top, is the seat lowered? Pete

More pictures of the SL-C at R&G 2008

Pete K. would you be able to wear a helmet in the SLC? You mentioned you're 6'4", what is your inseam? Did your head clear the rollbar above you? Did that SLC have a rollbar on top? Was the floor modified from stock to lower the seat or was the seat just bolted to the flat floor? The driver...

    Memorial Day at Pocono

#14 car is not setup for 6'2", that is why I didn't try. I believe you, both RCR40 and the SLC can be made to accomodate my size with a helmet. Perhaps, the SLC is easier. As great as the RCR LeMans looks, the roll bars would spoil it, it would make a great street car. It reminds me the...

    Memorial Day at Pocono

I didn't hook up with Ron, it was a busy, but enjoyable day. I did have extensive discussion about the car with his brother. He's the same height as I'm and he doesn't fit in #14 comfortably to drive it. #14 certainly did its best against all those Ferraris, and other "race prepared" rides...

    c5 6sp transaxle length

On the C5/6 with 6 speed the bellhousing (and clutch) is up front behind the motor. The gearbox and rear end are in the back. The shift linkage is on the front face of the gearbox, so you cannot simply eliminate the torque tube and mount the transmission to the bellhousing. That is why the GTP...

    Frank's KVA Build

Re: frank's kva Just stumbled on this write up, it is great for getting an understanding what it is that you need to do. There was a piece that I couldn't get a grip on. All measurements are taken with the steering "locked" in the straight ahead position. Does the desired geometry remain...
