The CAV is sold - thanks Karl i know you will love it.

Paul, the car was built around 2004 - so we are short of the 15 years. Kevin - the belts have not been installed yet - too little time. It does have AC I just had it at the shop and drove home - wow - it runs sweet and drives amazing.

that is the same car - they are who I bought it from. Since then the engine was balanced and blue printed, upgraded cam, roller rockers, Westlake Valve Covers, Upgraded uprights, and forged rods. new Avon tires.

Dave, sorry for the long wait on reply - again three kids in diapers make it tough. Yes the car is still for sale. The engine is a 427 balanced and blue printed and with roller rockers. Estimated at 550 HP - it is set rich on the carbs right now for break in. I had the engine gone...

Well, after a nice love affair and now three kids in diapers I have to turn loose of my stunning CAV GT40. This is one of 4 built with the Targa top. It is licensed in California - drives great - less than 2500 miles, I had the engine pulled, balanced blue printed, roller cam, roller...

The yellow targa is now the blue targa i picked up at BJ last year. I am enjoying it - but will probably take it up to the Monterey historic auction in August and sell it - looking to pick up a Fountain 48 to play with.
