Hi Hope someone can help, I have a CAV GT 40 with a Audi- Getrag box fitted The drive shaft came off and has damage the part which goes into the gearbox. Its bolted in with a cap head bolt through the centre. I have spoken to Jordi at CAV and he has no part number as he buy's the gearbox...

Thanks for your help one last question, its mention in the build manual that there is a black aluminium spacers below the coil spring for the front shock, does anyone know the size of this spacer or have a picture of it. Thanks Mike

Thanks for your input, yes the 1000lbs springs on the rear, every time you put your foot down the car bounces and skips across the road would not recommend them, think I will go with the factory setting. Thanks Mike

I had the same problem with the MSD Ignition system on my CAV it was the centre pin inside distributor cap had worn away, changed the cap and rotor arm, no problems since. Mike
