Well I nearly wet myself !

I nearly wet myself when I heard this. One of our local Doctors has been reported to the General Medical Council by a "customer" for unprofessional behaviour when treating a patient. Recently some “Travellers” have arrived and occupied an area of Common Land nearby. For our overseas...

    The best thing ............

Well we seem to have have a wealth of talent, experience, and enthusiasm tuned in to the GT 40's, so how about we ignore old brown-nose Clarkson and his painful and inconsistent procrastinations and tell each other what is the "best", "worst", or plain "most exciting" car we have had the good...

    Interesting contrast

Tony Hunt came to visit recently and I had my 1929 Brooklands Morgan out at the time. I thought that this photo showed an interesting contrast in "Rubber on the road" theory. Tony is about 6'14" tall so if any of you thought he was a tight fit in a 40, you should have seen him in the little...

The Greek Car no more !

Well folks, I've finally got my GT40 home....and Mighty Fine it is too. The challenge was for Frank Catt to de-Greek it for me, as it had lead a hard racing life for the last 3 or 4 years in the hands of....well shall we say "non-marque-specialists" and be polite ? Dave Millen rebuilt the...

    Standard GTD40 - Barry Davison 1991-4 ish

This was a Car I owned in the early '90s. It was a standard GTD, SLT 818 L with a standard 302. If you were firm with it, it was great fun to drive except for the awful gear-change and the overheating. I converted it to twin fans and made them switchable which helped a bit but as I didn't know...

    GT40 wanted

Great site ! Thanks. Long story, but the GT40s changed my life at Le Mans in '65. Been racing lunatic historic Morgans since 1970. Had a Brian Pepper GTD40 1994-97. Seriously in the market for a very good GT40 so I can do a bit of competition "indoors". Not in a rush because, as stated, I will...
