    Pulley to Firewall Clearance

I have a Roush 427IR (spec'd for a Superformance GT40). Firewall has been fab'd out maybe an inch..I can get an exact measurement if needed. Mostly on the right hand side. Seat cushion is appropriately cut to accommodate this "feature". Yes, I too was surprised that a Roush 427IR...

    SCOF

I first became a member of SCOF when I had a Superformance Cobra. As a newbie to things Superformance, I found the forum quite useful to both learn about the car and get a fair amount of technical support. For the two years I had my Cobra, SCOF was worthwhile. I'm not sure I enjoyed all the...

    Straight Pipes

A few more thoughts: I run a Roush 427IR motor. The injection system requires an O2 sensor to be mounted at the collectors. The slip fits on my larger polished headers and megaphones is not as good as the overlapping fit on the stock Superformance collectors. I have had issues with fresh air...

    Straight Pipes

Two files in this link, hopefully this works: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nsou3dbmxyamf1f/AAD4mAYSlh_eOJlRgJS5Dzpoa?dl=0 I've never found a cell phone that could accurately record the sound, nor a laptop that can play it well. - Jeff

    Straight Pipes

I run megaphones. They are not as loud as expected. Why so loud? Well, why get a GT40? :-) For me it's because it just sounds so awesome! It's not particularly loud in the car. If I were driving it regularly, the sound might be a bit extreme, but I mostly only do cruises and car events...

    Round Fog lights

There are a few photos in this collection that show how my turn signal was done in the front. You have to zoom in a bit to see the turn signal right next to the fog lamp. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qh5tq874jx5x83q/AAC9S-IrDkeQBVkgWfsplXm1a?dl=0 - Jeff

    Round Fog lights

I have the round "Le Mans" factory fog lights. Love the look and the functionality. I don't know how well the rectangular ones work, but the round ones are great in terms of helping to light up the road. Like on some race cars, my shop added a very small (maybe one inch diameter) but very...

FAST, Exhaust leaks, 02 Sensor, Rough Running

The recalibration work by Roush does not seem to have completely solved the lugging/pulsing I get likely as a result of the leaking exhaust fittings. I took apart the slip fits and put it all back together using Permatex Copper gasket sealer. That seems to have done the trick. Question is how...

FAST, Exhaust leaks, 02 Sensor, Rough Running

I need a button on the shifter to induce backfire and a hairy rough idle on demand :-) I'd call it the Cars and Coffee button. - Jeff

FAST, Exhaust leaks, 02 Sensor, Rough Running

I'm running a Roush 427IR with eight stack injection and megaphones. Thought I'd share something that others might be experiencing... Ever since I got my car on the road last year, I felt it was a bit of a challenge to drive - mostly in a good way. But there has always been a engine lugging...

    2307 at Laguna Seca

Incredible video - thank you for making it and sharing it! The was the camera shifts from side to side through the turns, blended with exterior shots, interior shots and on board telemetry - very well done. I've never been to Laguna Seca, but I've driven it in simulators. Your video gave me a...

    P2304

I'm actually ok with the rear view as is. When I was planning the car I was convinced I would do rear view cameras. Turns out I do not find them at all necessary. And, I'm happy not to clutter up my car with unnecessary technology. One of the reasons for the slow parking is the turning...
