Thanks Randy, huge compliment! After looking around the site again at others projects though, it's like the whole build levels across the boards has gotten higher! Cool to see. No more problems with this thread. Thanks again for your help.

Thank you Brian. Ya, all of a sudden one day my build thread in the RCR moderated forum got set to read only.

Have been passively looking for the best bespoke mirror for the car that wasn't ebay or amazon or generic that anyone could buy. Worked with Todd at racemirrors and chose his CIS housings. I used his aero stem stock to create the stems. Road legal too.

Underneath done except for finishes. Made an access door for the oil filter. Both trans and engine drainplugs have access also with flush plugs. The NACA ducts outlet directly onto the turbos helping with airflow.

A few other detail pics. Each water heat exchanger for the intercoolers has its own Bosch water pump. So each side is closed loop on the intercooler circuit. No reservoir, the volume of the heat exchanger, intercooler core and connecting lines should be more than enough. No need for the extra...

Got the rest of the exhaust finished, all 12" of it. Exit is through the rear clam. Sorry for the neck pain of looking at sideways pics, but it seems no matter what I do they come out sideways. In 36" of exhaust length have been able to fit a resonator, recycle w/g's into exhaust, an X section...

Thanks Howard. Ya, no real fancy parts or cnc stuff. Just a drill a grinder and a welder.

Basically. FilterWears makes them for all sizes of filters, even air horns. Very smooth to the touch and water beads off also.

Can be called an outer filter also most commonly used to keep sand from clogging your filter off roading or duning.

Very cool! So you made a front hood? Love the wheels, where did you find those?

Thanks Mesa. Ya, one day I could no longer post. It sure isn't going to take Elon Musk to find out who the censorship warden was. Hahaha. I chatted with one of the mods on the FB group and told them the situation and they had no problem reinstating my account outside of the RCR section. I heard...

Few more pics. Sorry for the sideways ones, not sure why they are getting flipped. Some pics of the air box and how the rear clam closes to seal it. I will just run some sand socks over the horns for driving around town. Since the air intakes are a touch lower than the roof line, most all...

Hey Howard! How are you doing? Ok, here is some recent pics. Had to ditch the beautiful headers that came on the car. Clearance was at about 1/16" off frame in many spots w/o the exhaust gaskets even in yet. Coatings or wrap will do almost nothing with zero clearance and no room for shields...

At this point in my life, I really just plan to keep auto stuff as my relax hobby for myself. I started a new business 5 years ago, and have been doubling sales every year since with a pretty unlimited ceiling for growth. Cars for me are best as a hobby at this point.

Freedom!!! After a long hiatus of not being able to post in my own build thread (or the rest of the site) that was originally in the SLC Clubhouse, I finally mentioned something to one of the general GT40 mods, and they were able to move it to this section and get away from the censorship by...

Thanks David. The tape lines are tracing out ideas, so ya, possible future cuts. With all of my radiator and a/c lines down low, I can cut that outline out, recess the area about 4" before running into anything like door latches, hinges, or anything else. It would taper starting at about 2"...

Since garage is cleaned out, I can get a little better perspective on the car, especially the profile. I really like the new profile lines of the spine, so it is staying, just need to get to making it out of fg and not pink foam.

    Fuel Filling and Venting

I also used a roll over ball vent. But, I installed a spring so that there was very minimal (like a few ounces) seat pressure, keeping it constantly closed. Expansion can still be taken out in the rubber filler neck (which would be minimal anyways), and low pressure from the tank emptying will...
