    Im bonding the carpet directly to the insulation and aluminum using a Loctite spray contact adhesive The devil is in the details

    100 sq ft of second skin sound deadening later plus other insulations and heat shields and the interior can start to got in.

    You mean you fitted the tie rods on the underside of the upright bracket? If so the bump steer will be horrendous and possibly dangerous at speed.

    Its called Lava mat, from heat shield products.

    Mostly I use polyester or epoxy resin with a thickening/filler agent, all can be obtained from West Marine.

    Part's strewn everywhere. The chassis has been a the paint shop for some time now, but is now coming along and will soon take its final color, in the mean time there are parts all over the shop some getting leather some getting carpet some getting paint. Slowly but surely she's coming along.
