Hello all! I have been reading through some of the build logs and researching the various GT40 replica builders out there. Although I would love to build a car from a basic kit, I don't have the room, time, tools or patience. So, I'm searching for my best option to finally own a left hand drive MKI style GT40 streetcar. From what I have read and learned about so far, the kits made in the UK seem to be more affordable and "complete" than the ones made in the US. But, I would have to pay for shipping, offload and have the whole "Customs" thing to work through, so that makes them more even in the long run. Plus you have the Pound to Dollar fluctuations to consider. I'm interested in purchasing either a complete turnkey version or a turnkey minus version and I would complete the engine / transaxle install. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thx!!
