Martin 007, Julian B-W, Nadine, Steve C5 & myself had a wonderful time at Gurston yesterday. I was particularly impressed with Steve, as it was his very first competitive hill climb event with his Corvette C5. He managed to knock off over 7 seconds between first and last run, this with a car on road tires and an auto box! Fantastic, Steve! Nad took to the class win with a blistering 35.66, a gnats whisker away from Dave's class record(35.25).
I think Steve is going to put his motoring Journo skills to good use, and do a write-up of this event for the GTD40 club website. The event was filmed by Brayspeed, and will be shown by Motors TV soon.

We came along too just spectating, though as it was a nice day took the '40 too.

Nadine's tyre warm up for her second run got a a round of applause from all around the start line (including the marshalls!).

Cheers,

Max & Maxine.
