Headlamp fixings

Since I have been asked about fixing headlights I though I would offer my solution and pictures.
I used were Marchal headlights. The locating tabs on the lights were drilled out and tapped to M6 so that I could adjust the lights from the front. The M6 bolts were located on the fibreglass using 2 washers, a nylock nut and a rubber O ring to create friction. (bolt./ washer/ fibreglass/ o-ring/ washer/ nylock) .The outside bolt in the pictures.

is button head due to UK IVA rules.

One of my light setups to keep the car at rideheight for IVA, if that will ever happen...
Saves me 65mm of jacking the suspension up to max to clear the IVA rule of min. 500mm from ground to bottom of lens. 350mm for indicators. I’m sure all you purists will love this setup.... I do have a few pairs of SEV Marchal & Cibie headlights and sidelights should I want to fit them one day... enjoy.
