I am posting this as a respite from the endlass tedious political ramblings that infest this here paddock.

The first video is from a Japanese TV documentary about the early 60s Honda RC166 250cc 6 cylinder race bike. Amazing technology for the early sixties when we were still making 500cc singles like the Manx Norton. They run the bike and then strip it right down for the cameras. It's a bit long and in japanese but you can dodge the chat and see the interesting bits. I remember watching Mike Hailwood winning on this in 1967. He did a 107.73mph standing start lap and then 5 more laps. I saw the bike being wheeled into the paddock at the end with big chunks of tread missing from the back tyre. Balls of steel!

The second one is a more general one with info on this amazing machine.

Sweet sounding Honda Six ~ Return of the Cafe Racers

It was LOUD but should give you a smaller headache than "politics".

Cheers
Mike (not the bike)
