Hybrid Turbo builds?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a build using eTurbo/Hybrid turbos like these mainly for eliminating turbo lag?

I know they are expensive but I’ve seen stupid money get spent on way crazier builds.

I think the level of complexity of such a system leaves it exclusively in the OEM world for now.

These need far more battery than a GT40's 12V system has, so it needs to be integrated with the other hybrid systems like regenerative braking and the battery. I suppose the turbo could charge a smaller battery bank and use it to spool up, but the spool up problem is more an issue for automatic transmission cars sitting at an idle, then the light turns green and the owner wants the car to leap. We know you need to have the revs up in anticipation of a quick launch or squirting around a slower car.
