It's good to have big bucks.

I was once standing at the side of the runway at Dunsfold aerodrome when a Harrier came into land ish :) , it came down the runway at about treetop height, hovered close to where we were standing ( or trying to) , the nozzles rotated slightly and off it went again. What a machine and the noise , Jeeeeeesus.:thumbsup:

Amazing planes! Very few civilians have the qualifications and certification to fly supersonic aircraft in the USA. Of course he can't fly supersonic over populated areas and I would imagine that since virtually every bit of airspace over the USA is monitored (not controlled) - I would have to believe that he would have to have a special sort of flight plan to allow him to go SS anywhere in the USA..
