The box was bought from another member of the forum 2 months ago for my custom GT project, I have decided I would prefer a 5 speed unit as it will be used mainly on the road.
The box has an LSD installed and has already been inverted to run upside down for a GT40.
The ratios are as follows:
Final drive ratio 4.22:1
1st gear 2.25:1
2nd gear 1.30:1
3rd gear 0.89:1
4th gear 0.65:1
reverse gear 2.43:1
The bell housing face has had approximately 8mm shaved off.
The gearbox comes with a new Kennedy Engineering clutch, new flywheel for an FE big block, new centre plate and new starter motor. This clutch is rated to 600lb/ft of torque.
