RCR rear suspension travel

Has anyone come up with a clean method of limiting the lower travel limit of their RCR project. If I lift the car on a jack the CV joints bind and the lower trailing arm hits the chassis. Straps? Bump stops? Other methods?

I'm not a RCR owner, but the first thought I had was to put a bolt-on bump stop on the chassis where it currently hits..
