Rear Clamshell wheel well lip

I ran across some more parts and picked them up. Among them was a rear clamshell that is wide like lemans wide, 79+/- inches. But unlike others I've seen, this one has a lip at the wheel well opening. Anyone know what manufacturer had this style and did any original cars have this style?

Looks like the 68 arches to me. The 69 cars used 14 inch wheels under rear clams that were wider I think

Sorry brain working now, I don`t know what the clam was off, it was the wheels I was thinking about as the wider Gulf wheels in 69 were under arches with no lips, the 68 wheels were under arches with lips. This was not a Gulf coloured clam anyway so I presume its off something else?

I bought it from a guy that's been collecting GT40 stuff since the 1970's. It is not original. He claims he had molds taken from a Gulf car directly for spares back then. He made this from those molds. I'm no expert and had not seen one with the lip. While I could never afford a real GT40, I have had a lot of fun collecting some pretty cool stuff within my budget. I also have the racing spares that were vintage raced on P1027. I'm building a car but collecting parts is almost as much fun. Well, except the occasional junk I buy that turns out worthless.

Morten, thanks for the help! Here are a few pics of the inside ducting. Note the air intake on the side is split, the larger portion goes into the "normal" brake duct, but the lower split exits into a small sqaure hole, pictured.

1061 is pictured with Avon 15.0/25.0-15 what would that be in modern tire size?
