    RCR GT40 Cinderella in France

I changed all the gaskets of the parts making up the injection. After reassembling, the tension of the throttle cable had to be adjusted on the capstan, which was new because before, the cable acted on a small lever on the side, not through the capstan. This forced several modifications to the...

    RCR GT40 Cinderella in France

Today, I removed the front and back clam shells, and I discover that the front wheel seem to touch the body near the gas tank, and also the back of the arch on each side. I saw that several GT40 are equiped on the front cover with self ejecting fasteners (1/4 turn), but with an aerodynamic profil. Instead to have 2 large lobes, the one oriented to the front of the car is smaller than the one of pointed the back of the car. I tried to show you what I am thinking...

The difference with it is that the inlet is now done by a Borla injection with Accel electronic instead of a carburator. I am not...

Oil viscosity for Aluminum Dart block engine

JacMac, you are completely right, but to run the engine in my garage, at least, I need oil in the engine. Presently the engine is running but the type of oil inside is a mystery and I do not want to spend 60€ to get the info. Dry sump will be the next step...

Oil viscosity for Aluminum Dart block engine

Hello, My RCR GT40 is equiped with a Dart Aluminum block SBF 302 strocked to 370, full roller, wet sump, with Victor Junior heads, Borla injection. But what kind of oil shall I use for a race track use only. I went on the Dart web site and nothing is specified.
