I replaced all the rubber boots on mine, they were opened or cut and the dirt was going inside. I bought a set of various diameters and sizes on amazon and found the approriate ones.
I checked how my engine was assembled on the engine mount (done by the previous owner) and it was done with lock wire on the engine side (hot) and nyllock ont the frame side [cold)
I changed all the gaskets of the parts making up the injection. After reassembling, the tension of the throttle cable had to be adjusted on the capstan, which was new because before, the cable acted on a small lever on the side, not through the capstan.

I saw that several GT40 are equiped on the front cover with self ejecting fasteners (1/4 turn), but with an aerodynamic profil. Instead to have 2 large lobes, the one oriented to the front of the car is smaller than the one of pointed the back of the car.

JacMac, you are completely right, but to run the engine in my garage, at least, I need oil in the engine. Presently the engine is running but the type of oil inside is a mystery and I do not want to spend 60€ to get the info.

My RCR GT40 is equiped with a Dart Aluminum block SBF 302 strocked to 370, full roller, wet sump, with Victor Junior heads, Borla injection. But what kind of oil shall I use for a race track use only. I went on the Dart web site and nothing is specified.
