I've tried to do that for years now. 'Spent two weeks trying to find a U.S. made lawn mower about 4 years back. 'FINALLY found one - Troy Built...and it's been a darned good mower.

But, these days even U.S. brand CARS are made elsewhere...and those that are made here still have a huge list of foreign components. And good luck trying to find a U.S. made T.V.

'Tain't easy to do...

I bought an engine part for a Ford 302 earlier this year, the part said " made with pride in th USA, ". I checked the box it came in which said " made in China " but my surprise was then to find that the part inside the box was wrapped in a few days old " South Korean Times newspaper " and shipped directly to me from that country

Would anything be purebred even if it was made in a specific country? I cant imagine for one moment that its possible to find a product that is not made up of bits from all over the globe. At best it may be assembled in a country and badged so, the words "manufactured in" , "made in" and "built in" can be a tad misleading .
