Hello Rod I have had them laser profile cut in mild steel, our English spec for the steel is MS CR4 2 In my experience I have found bronze welding stainless steel to be problematic. Also getting stainless zinc coated or chromed over here is a problem too. So I stayed safe

Hello Nick I should think those fasteners are original with that part number on them. Southco told me that the part number was dropped a long time ago. It would be a shame to bronze weld over the part number. Some one going for originality might be very interested in them. Adrian

The Dzus fasteners have flat heads and were supplied under the original part number of EHF 6-60 by Southco who supplied the originals. Adrian
