Did you go with the metal or rubber Fuel Safe cells? How much were they?

My CAV is an early one. I want to switch to alu tanks for the exact same reason. The car stinks...the garage stinks. No leaks that I can find...but when it has a full tanks I know it's leaking someplace. Who can I get the tanks from?

So, I have had my GT40 for a few years. When it was built it was going to get injection and at the last minute the owner decided to just use the ignition side of the Tec 3 and slap a Holly carb on it. It has never run right. So, I just picked up a FAST 304152 and I am going to start working...

I know this thread has been dead for quite a while. Let's talk tires! I have an early CAV with 15" and I need to do something about my tires. The Goodyear GTII is the worst thing ever. I am sticking with the 15" because I love the look. What are my options as of today?

I have one of the early CAV GT40's and I have always felt that the rear end was a bit to high. Does anybody else have the same car that can give me an idea of a nice height from the rear quarter to the ground? Thanks, Sean

We built this 10 years ago for a buddy of mine. He is 6'4". He never drove it. So I purchased it last year.
