    Yes I did use 3/8" studs which worked fine. 1/2" studs were overkill !! The shape and geometry is the same as the factory unit.

    I made a CAD file that holds a bearing at the pivot. Water jet from 1/2" aluminum. Works great. No rubbing and looks good.

    I decided to just let them run. They turn on when engine oil pressure is sensed. Same for the intercooler water pump.

    I wanted to make a trim ring for the roof scoop. I will bond the rear half to the car so the front can be removed to clean/replace the screen.

    I used the stock Camaro rotors that came with the kit. I also could not find "new" parts. Replacement pads are available, but electric calipers were nice used units from the West Coast.

    Works really well !! Used one controller for each side so if one fails you still have one working. I have the "force" amperage set almost at it's minimum setting and it's great !
