Yeah i think he should have bought a new one and done a complete build trying to salvage some of the parts off the wrecked one. I was really disappointed when he abandoned the idea. It almost seems as if he blamed Fran for now helping him. Very sad....i was hoping SLC's would get more popular...
@GranVille Thanks for your comment. I wasn't talking bad about anyone. I simply made a statement on how crazy i think it is to be asking that amount for the SLC. Granted some people have a ton of money, its also no reason to take advantage oF someone. To be honest i don't think the car is worth...
Cam, I am not exactly sure however if we look at the following link and look at the instructions, I believe it should receive 12v constantly once the key is turned...
Have you also checked voltage on the relay when its under load? then check voltage on the fuel pump. I'm thinking at some point your losing voltage and this is why your seeing issues.
I am not sure how many people are aware of this because most of these manufacturer that sell this type of stuff sell only to car manufacturers. This means you may or may not be able to buy it from a dealership.
This is what i found online

I did find...
Del, what was the second and third picture underneath the video? I am unfamiliar with that device. Also the Car launcher looks like an app for any android device. I found this video of someone installing it on an android head unit.
Thanks for posting. I would love to see this in an SLC but i would agree with Cliff that pairing the electronics to this engine may be pretty complicated. Has anyone ever seen an SLC with a Ferrari engine?
Has anyone seen Plasti Dip other than Cam? https://www.dipyourcar.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsqsjtd902RLo8peD11olPw I think this is a good cheap alternative to putting a permanent paint job on these cars!
Hello, Im still pretty new to the forums and even though i would love to buy this, I just can't afford it right now. You all mentioned Allen...who is he? Is he a builder for SLC's? Is there more than one builder?
Thanks for posting this! When i am ready to build my SLC i am actually going to reach out to Steve Morris Engines. He's local to me and i think a really good no bs builder. Here are some links to his shop and youtube channel. Check it out! Also can you post links to the shops you used...
