Yes that was my plan. I bought the lights from Tornado including the buckets rims and units. The light units have a sidelight hole so I bought some bayonet mounts from ebay for the W16W type indicator bulbs and just filed a single keyway that allows the bayonet to fit in.
For the bulbs I put...
Just an update on this. The Gurney Eagle rocker covers are now painted up and fitted. I used a 12mm tungsten carbide burr on an air die grinder to take about 3-4mm thickness out of the inner side wall (nearest the inlet manifold) and to trim back the bolt hole bosses on that side. The wall is...
Thanks all for the responses. So essentially I'm going to mill off some of the side wall to get the clearance. I should have tried the fit before painting them up, but the internal dimensions widthwise were identical to the Ford Racing covers I had, so wasn't expecting a problem. I'll just...
Just coming back on this in case it helps anyone else - here are the mounts I made for the lower P1075 style driving lights and how I fixed them inside the clam. C
I have bought a pair of Gurney Eagle rocker covers from Andy at Tornado, but am having some issues fitting them. I would have thought this is something that others have come across and solved so asking here.
The car has basic Edelbrock aluminium heads (standards valves) and 1.6 rocker arms...

I have a set of lower Le Mans style driving lights (like P1075) with buckets that are 5.75 inch. I was wondering if anyone had any pics on how they mounted theirs? I think the best option is to mount the buckets behind the clam panel with a hole cut to just allow the headlamp and chrome rim to...
Yes absolutely an option although a bit more expensive than the MC4s. How did you mount yours - fabricated bracket or something else? Do you have 15" or 17" wheels? Any photos would be very helpful. Thanks Craig
Currently I have Wilwood Powerlite rear calipers with a handbrake actuator inbuilt on my Tornado rear brakes. As many have found and commented, the handbrake is useless with this set up and doesn't pass MOT standards. I am looking at a separate handbrake caliper system and the Wilwood MC4 has...
