Yes Lee, the spf headers are not bad except they come with dual pattern flanges where they connect to the head to accommodate the 80’s 5.0l heads because of this it blocks a significant area of the exhaust port when you are running larger port AFR etc heads and the primary tubes are on the...

We have roughly 3k into materials to do those headers. Most of the tubing and collectors came from Burns and it is really unrivaled quality

I also made a set of hard lines for the cooling system. I am sure a lot of you have battled trying to get the engine in and out of these cars with the center pin for the clam shell Trying to occupy the same place the water pump pulley is trying to be so I made the pin mount removable.

Sorry everyone, I have gotten pretty busy with things at the shop and haven’t posted for a while. I finally got my headers finished! Hats off to everyone that has done this themselves! Today was a big day finally got my transaxle in so I can start laying out the exhaust. I ended up having to do some clearancing on the lower crossmember to clear the bottom bolt between the transaxle and bell housing, but it all fits now.

David, that is a fair question that honestly I don’t know a lot about. I am pretty sure I have seen conversations on this forum about the pros and cons of silicone brake fluids but I’m having a hard time remembering the what the more experienced guys said about it. One of the main reasons I...

Chris, I am planning on running an external slave cylinder on this car. I didn’t like the idea of having to remove the transaxle to fix a leaking hydraulic TOB. Conversely there are a lot of people who seem to have pretty good luck with the internal setups and depending on what bell housing and...

Unfortunately when I pulled the tanks I cracked the round plastic covers for the access holes to remove the hose clamps from the filler neck to the tank. So I replaced them with aluminum panels and 3m seal material.

Also had to rework the thermostat housing the one that came on the engine exited vertical and hit the bulkhead. Made a new one with a 90 that exits to the passenger side of the car.

I would also have to say I have had a great experience working with prestige. Everyone I have talked to there has gone above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. The final product is spectacular amazing attention to detail best experience I have ever had with an engine builder.
