I couldn't help myself and opened it on my big monitor. I immediately regretted it. Thats horrible. Feet take so long to heal. Hoping you heal well and soon. Bummer! I don't want to even think of how much that hurt. Car is coming along nicely.

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

Kind of a Black and White assessment. I don't think its fair to describe folks who have a more pragmatic view of the pandemic as being in a "Tribe" that does nothing to prevent the spread. If you trust science then you will recognize that the data clearly shows 2% of the US has tested positive...

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

I was an outreach counselor in my previous life and worked with many social workers. I admired and appreciated the work they did. The 7-day average is at about 800 deaths per day in the US. It is trending down since about July. Even at a 1000 per day, it will take an unlikely and unfortunate...

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

No, the data is still relevant, and you stated 200,000 deaths, which is not from the last six weeks. The fact is almost four times as many UK COVID cases died from the illness. What do you mean to put my energy into saving lives? Do you volunteer at the COVID unit at your local hospital? Are...

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

I would think to attribute this to the quantity of testing in the US but the UK is ahead of testing compared to the US I believe.

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

12% of the UK cases died. 3% of the US cases died. I would not call that a win for the UK. 4 times as many killed as it relates to the number of "cases." Assuming I am looking at this correctly. And the US hasn't exactly been conservative with how they assign COVID to a death certificate.

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

Daily Deaths have decreased by a substantial amount in Chester County PA. PA continues to have some of the strongest restrictions in the country. The majority of deaths occurred here during the most restrictive phase of the COVID lockdowns.

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

Daily test results in Chester County PA. While the number of overall tests has increased substantially. The number of positive tests has remained constant (dark blue). Negative tests are in light blue. Positive tests are consistent with the numbers in April during full lockdown here. You...

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

It appears the majority of deaths occurred when we were locked down. Unfortunately, the majority of these fatalities occurred in nursing homes and could have been avoided if proper precautions were taken. It appears we are doing much better. Mask wearing? Social distancing? Washing our...

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

Uneducated debate? Their "highly accurate" predictions have revised multiple times. Uneducated debate? The "highly accurate" IHME models have been revised multiple times. Let's keep the educated debate going.

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

I was able to find this one on the site. "Mapping male circumcision for HIV prevention efforts in sub-Saharan Africa"

    Coronavirus - Excellent Data-Based Analysis

I could not find the research or statistics that they were basing their model on. I see they are trying to display a statistical difference in wearing masks vs not wearing masks. Where does it refer to the research that supports the model? I may have not looked close enough. I like to refer...

    Steve's GT-R Build Thread

Sorry about the hijack. I recall H’s GT-R being about 3200lbs. My car has an entire interior fabbed from aluminum and lots of sound deadener material. Complete audio system. The LT4 gen 4 is heavier then Steve’s LS. It takes lots of additional parts to make a finished street car. H had told...

    Steve's GT-R Build Thread

I think my car will be REALLY fat! I am hoping for 3400 lbs. Based on your weight I may be fortunate to hit that number. H seems to think we will get close. I don't want it to weigh more than my Viper. Good work on your car.
