Indeed, the buyer backed out. I have accepted a second offer from a new buyer, and I'm waiting for funds. I never consider a car sold until I have the funds and the car is loaded on a carrier. Stay tuned...

I agree. My CAV GT air conditioner works quite well, even in Phoenix. However, if you let the car set in a parking lot in the sun, the leather seats get HOT. The A/C will blow cold air at you, however, your a*s stays hot for a long time.......
Maybe this will help. I have a CAV GT40 with Smith gauges. The fuel level gauge appears to be pretty close to correct. Each tank has a VDO sender that measures 69 ohms empty and 6.5 ohms full. The sender has no other markings, though I wish I had taken a photo when I had it out. HTH. -Steve
My CAV GT40 ZF was converted to external slave by the PO. He got tired of leaky internal ones. Conversion kit was provided by Pantera Performance in Castle Rock, Colorado. Price was a little over $1,000 back in 2013. I have owned the car for about a year and a half, and have had no problems...
